"... when Daddy dresses me, I don't look pretty." No, that's not it...
"... I like to pull the tail of the Pebbles kitty." True story, but not what I was looking for...
"... you ain't as cute as me, and it sure is a pity." Again, true, but no...
"... my diaper's feeling full and smelling sh*tty." Yes, that's it!
Anyway, thanks for checking out my blog. I'm coming to you today from the midst of a heat wave, so I'm not really in the mood for chit-chat. They say the murder rate always rises during a heat wave, but I suspect the temper-tantrum rate does as well. It's brutal outside. We're talking beastly, insufferable, melt-your-sippee-cup hot. As we speak, I'm running around the house in nothing but a diaper -- white-trash style.
The good news is, I have lots of fun adventures to relate to y'all, so I'll get right to it.
This was my very first boat ride, a water taxi in Annapolis. Good thing I was strapped in. When I see that much water, my instinct is to grab my rubber ducky and jump in.
Here we are at the zoo. That giraffe kept staring at me. Made me a little uncomfortable, I have to say.
Look, Mommy! I think that baby elephant just pooped!
I'm learning to drive this here tractor. I've already asked for a John Deere trucker hat for my second birthday.
Two things can make any situation more fun: Monkeys. And bubbles.
Stop... hammock time!
Apparently, Daddy needs a lesson in how to operate a barrette. The point is to keep the hair out of the eyes. Duh.
Took a trip to see my Nanny and Papa. They had a pool, a playground and two dogs. It was awesome.
We went to one of those drive-through safaris, where the animals come up to your window and eat out of your hand. This big old creature -- might have been a llama -- took a liking to Mommy.
Attacking my cousin Carter.
OK, ma'am, which of the kids in this lineup is the one you saw hit the other kid with the choo-choo train? OK, everybody turn to the right!
That's right, I swing.
Bye-bye to Nanny and Papa.
Crushing a plate of sushi. That's raw fish, in case you didn't know.
I like to eat ice cream. I also like to wear it.
We went to the Little Italty Festival in 100 degree weather. We lasted approximately 5.6 minutes -- or the length of time it takes two adults and one 21-month-old to scarf down a platter of fried dough in the shade.
I not only can play the guitar -- I can play it behind my back, with one hand, while striking a pose.
That's it for me, folks. I'm getting sleepy.

Lucinda,
Next time you're at Camden Yards, Daddy can show you a real live manatee. What sound does a manatee make? "3, 2, 1 ... Heh-heh, heh-heh, heh-heh!"
Thanks for sharing the photos. Stay cool in all that heat.
